About me
Emma Russell is the multi talented owner of Fuschia Phlox, a trademarked publishing and recording company. Her interests in the Arts began with acting, then developed into writing, music and painting. Her talents have been spotted by the media from the New York Herald to the UK BBC.

She is a self produced musician and singer/songwriter, producing and developing tracks in her home studio. She plays guitar and piano and writes her own lyrics and melodies.
She has produced 7 albums and 7 singles, two of which were made for charity.
Her songs have been listed on Spotify's Release Radar and played on BBC Radio and Indie Radio stations. Her music has been played in over 211 countries around the world, distributed by Ditto Music.

She has a podcast 'Back To The Fuschia' available on most podcasts channels where she interviews dreamers and creatives about their drive and successes. The second series interviews people from all walks of life and is called 'These Voices Matter.'

She is the published author of 18 children's books, 4 literary books, 8 film scripts and 8 poetry books. She was also invited to auditions for The Voice and The Piano but had to drop out due to family circumstances.
She does her own illustrations and she has read her children's books in libraries, nurseries, schools, community centres, museums and art centres. She has an Enhanced Certificate from the UK Disclosure & Barring Service, enabling her to work with children and vulnerable adults and she is registered on the DSB Update Service.
Her books have been reviewed online on book blogs, read in book clubs and globally reviewed in newspapers all over the world and her debut novel 'Return To The Aegean' was nominated for the Amazon Novel Breakthrough Award in 2011.

She is also the creator of Dorkus Petendus, a comedy character whose short videos can be seen on social media and TikTok.
